This article is dedicated to all of Us, Indians. Yes! A women wrestler Vinesh Phogat saw her dreams get shattered by merely 100 Grams at the Olympic Games. Probably the biggest place and biggest dream any athlete or sportsperson ever sees in the world. But it was not the only story of just one women wrestler. It is about all dreamers that India has ever produced. I have kept it to India only because we Indians are special set of people in the world and our way of living is different too.
The dream of India, I dream is where a woman or let’s put it in more simpler terms any citizen of India won’t have to fight for their right but the system will be sensitive towards it. And will have a closely knit community set up that looks after each other no matter what your age, your gender, your caste or your financial status, everyone is equal.
Infact, right now we are locked in the greatest uncertainty that we may have ever witnessed in our history. For, things are changing at a rapid pace concerning the education, mode of living, healthcare, livelihood, and religion. Yes, religion and caste are big deal in our country. We are seeing upsurge attack of hatred through social media and through the hate propagators in the disguise of a politician.
My dream India has responsible political leaders with clear vision of brotherhood. They know the utmost importance of staying together as that helps face all challenges head-on and have favorable results. When we see all through the context of those 100 grams then we can truly see what exactly the dream ways. It is far heavier than anyone can imagine after all it is 100 grams each of those 1.45 billion people. It’s not Vinesh Phogat alone, it is all of us together and I firmly believe the dream India, I dream of is happening as the people start to rise.
