Introduction:
The modern life of today demands more, draining you of your energy. This book ‘Fellow Seeker’ is a beautiful conversation of a man with its doubt. In this the doubt always kicks in confusing him and asking questions at the critical junctures. There is a need to resolve the questions by this doubt and move ahead. The author of this book is Krishna Prakash. He is a simple man with higher spiritual purpose to his life. Krishna works with the Indic Wisdom spreading the teachings for life. He has learners from across 45 countries with backgrounds like doctors, researchers, coached, engineers, musicians, sportspersons and more. He has mastery of Yoga Nidra. His organization Shrimath Yoga School is located in the beautiful city of Bangaluru.
Positives:
It is a wonderful example of storytelling and simplification to understand life in its truest form. The author here is uncluttered in this thought process and teachings. The reader can easily find the flow. And most importantly the readers are able to connect their life situations with the incidents described in the book. The journey of self doubting and finding answers to them is the best aspect of this book. The author is constantly in conversation with his doubt. This happens especially when he is trying to make an important decision in his life.
You will also find many a times he recalls his time spent with his grandfather. A wonderful learning from his conversation with his grandfather helping him resolves the doubt. The imagery is wonderful that will keep you hooked until you finish reading the book. Language is very simple and easy to understand. The author ensures complex life issues are presented in simplified manner.
Negatives:
At times you may wonder how someone can be comfortable speaking to the doubt. He talks about great rapport with his grandfather that often lacks in current times. This is difficult to correlate for people who have never seen their grandparent.
Conclusion:
Overall, when you read the book you do not feel like you are reading. You are able to connect and gain from the wisdom with ease. Easily the book gets all 5 stars for its content and way of presentation. I recommend this book to anyone facing life blocks or wishes to start their spiritual journey.
