Introduction:

Positives:
Messiah is Seema’s story of finding a Messiah and eventually becoming one. Seema is the main character in this dramatic storyline. The rural background gives the ground reality touch still prevalent in India. Seema’s father is supportive of her daughter and wants her to achieve her dreams. That is against the norm there in the village. Dr. Aditya is the doctor who is from the village now settled in the city. You will find that circumstances turn even the best friend to betrayal and Seema has to fight a very dangerous fight to bring about a change. It is a great story that covers aspects of forcing marriage on girls. Social taboos involving community where powerful dictates the weak. The stuff describing the struggle will get you connected with the story and sympathize with Seema. She never gives up and even when there is no hope, not only she finds hope but wins it in the end for his family.
Negatives:
While read you are thrown back by some grammar mistakes and repeat in the lines. The content needed proper editing to ensure the reader is staying along the storyline.
Conclusion:
However, if you ignore these small errors and focus on the story, then you will definitely like the book. If you are looking to read a story that tries to highlight the problem women still face for their rights then you will like it. The book earns 3.5 points out of 5 points for the great effort and beautiful description of the challenges women face on day-to-day basis. It definitely is great to read at least once.
