The Cursed Sons<\/strong><\/em><\/h1>\n

The phenomena of supernatural things are common in many mountainous regions, and in some other regions also. There are many real stories or events based on supernatural occurrences. I have seen vampires and other supernatural things also, similar to what I used to see in the famous movies “Twilight” and “Harry Potter.”<\/p>\n

The story begins from the Tehri district, where two brothers, Gagan and Kishore, live in the same house with their families. Kishore’s wife, Seema, is blessed by the family deity “Maa Surkanda,” and the couple has three sons: Anant, Shiva, and Raghav.<\/p>\n

The three sons finish their education and plan to move to the city for work. One of the brothers, \u201cShiva,\u201d sets out for Delhi but gets involved in an accident along the way. This brings great sorrow to the family. After recovery, Shiva is advised to rest for nine months. Meanwhile, \u201cAnant and Raghav\u201d also need to travel to different cities for work. However, on the day they are supposed to leave, their mother, Seema, develops smallpox (badi mata) and gets a high fever. As a result, both cancel their plans and become very concerned about their mother\u2019s health.<\/p>\n

Seema starts hearing strange noises every night after that, sometimes crying and sometimes screaming. She begins to feel her body growing lethargic. One night, she sees a woman who has scars on her hands and feet and is missing one eye. Seema is so terrified that her agitation increases even more. After that, the family suffered more when their father passed away from a heart attack.\u00a0Then the family visits a renowned Aghori (a kind of spiritual practitioner) for a solution.<\/p>\n

The Aghori tells them, “Your uncle Gagan employed a tantrik to perform black magic in your home. He committed this evil act out of greed for land and wealth, and jealousy. The powdered bones used in the ritual belonged to a woman. She died as a result of a curse, which is why you all are also cursed. You cannot leave this village until the black magic is lifted. However, you can visit Rajasthan, as that woman (the cursed witch) was from there. On the day of a ritual, she insulted a famous Baba (holy man) by serving him meat because she wanted to stop the ritual which was being performed for the King’s prosperous life. She was also a wicked tantrik and wanted to marry the King, but he denied her. That\u2019s why she sought to kill him. The Baba cursed her, saying that her death would come from black magic, and even after her death, her soul would be used by some tantrik for dark magic.”<\/p>\n

One precious morning, sand was blowing like flickering golden sprinkles in the air. Something unnatural was happening there. It was in Jaisalmer, where the brothers had arrived with the Aghori. The Aghori told them to stop there until he returned with the talisman (tabeez). He could only make the talisman in a place where no one was present at the time, which is why he went a little farther from them.<\/p>\n

“Keep chanting the Mrityunjay mantra until I return to this place,” he said. The three brothers waited there, chanting the mantra, looking up at the sky and praying to God.<\/p>\n

Suddenly, the soul of the \u201ccursed witch,\u201d appeared in front of them in the form of sparkling sand. She screamed loudly, \u201cI am here to kill you all.\u201d Then she disappeared.<\/p>\n

Now, the Aghori came with talismans and told the brothers to wear them for the protection from \u201ccursed witch.\u201d Before the ritual, the \u201ccursed witch\u201d appeared in front of the brothers, taking the form of their mother, on the night of Amavasya. She said to them, \u201cMy sons, the Aghori is in league with your uncle (Gagan). Before he can harm us, leave this place as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later, the cursed sons hastily drove the car to leave the place, with the \u201ccursed witch\u201d who had taken the form of their mother. They stopped the car shockingly as their father\u2019s soul \u201cKishore\u201d was in front of them.<\/p>\n

Kishore: My sons, “This is the evil spirit, not your mother. Proceed to sit in the ceremony with Aghori. Due to the protection from the talisman, she cannot harm you but can only trick you.”<\/p>\n

The cursed spirit was released as the ceremony performed came to an end, and pleaded with the Aghori, \u201cPlease grant me liberation so that I too may be freed from this curse.\u201d Aghori replied, \u201cWhen you start helping innocent people who are suffering from black magic or curse. Your help provided should be equal to the evil things you did before. Then only you could get liberation (nirvana).\u201d Cursed witch gave a heartfelt thanks to Aghori, and left the place.<\/p>\n

In the end, the three Sons and their mother thanked the Aghori as well as their family deity (Maa Surkunda). Their father, Kishore, also attained nirvana.<\/p>\n
